I recently had one of my student Digital Ambassadors complete a prototype lesson for Physics using RSA Animation. RSAs are very simple to create (i.e. whiteboard, camera, video editor) and can be applied to any content area. As you will see in the example below, this student is given an opportunity to truly and deeply demonstrate what she knows (principles of force and velocity) in an authentic and dynamic way. I think we would all agree that if a student can explain and teach the key concepts of the class, he/she has truly mastered them. This type of activity is ideal for formative and summative assessments. Have a look below. If you would like to incorporate this type of learning into your teaching practice, please don’t hesitate to book an appointment with me or one of my digital ambassadors.

They are simple to complete, but difficult to organize everything in a good way. I prefer the process of the cameraman, when you can ask someone to help you. In such a way, you can move your locations and show more.
