Yes, it may sound a bit crazy, but it WORKS! The challenge to the students: take a fairly complex (and perhaps dry) topic such as the Federalist Papers and break it down (explain) it in such a way that a second grader would understand it. The students we worked with were engaged, challenged, and enjoyed the process. Check out this sample using the application StoryJumper to create it: "Naughty and Nice"
